A port city with a hill of old foreign houses, a bright harbour and famous beef.
Worth a day?
Maybe. Kobe is a short train ride from Osaka. The day covers the Kitano foreign houses, the old port area and the waterfront, and can add a ropeway or a view from Mt. Rokko or Mt. Maya. It is a poor choice for travellers who want one major sight or a long day in nature.
Pick your pace
Kobe works as a slow day or a full one. Choose the pace that fits yours and the stops that suit it come first. Nothing is removed.
